In honor of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and the many who have given of themselves on and after that day, thousands of members of the Linden Hills and wider metro community gathered at the Lake Harriet Bandshell for the Annual Memorial Concert and Tribute, with patriotic songs performed by an all-volunteer orchestra and choir. Special thanks to Bob Bayers for organizing this outstanding community event, to Manny Laureano, who directed the orchestra, and John Hoffacker, for directing the choir.
