In honor of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and the many who have given of themselves on and after that day, thousdands of members of the Linden Hills and southwest metro community gathered at the Lake Harriet Bandshell for a wonderful Memorial Concert and Tribute, with patriotic songs performed by a 54-piece volunteer orchestra and a 60-member volunteer choir.

Special thanks to Bob Bayers for organizing this stellar community event, to Jere Lantz, who directed the orchestra, and Janice Hunton, for directing the choir.
